Ploughshare moldboard arm – model DT103002 -: This ploughshare model belongs to the SMARAGD range and it is compatible with Lemken’s orginal SMARAGD system. Its special form and design grant a triple function. On one side, it protects the machine’s arm from wear by friction with the soil, avoiding fatigue wear due to traction.
It also fulfills the function of opening a permeation zone, when the whole ploughshare works deep, which allows this piece to penetrate more easily during rainy seasons. At last, it fulfills the function of soil flipping at medium-high speed. This makes it optimal to work on soil with high vegetation density and once this one is cutted by the action of the wings is flipped by the design of the surface of the ploughshare, which is moldboard shaped.
This piece is also optimal, in cases in which is used for labour after fertilizing or incorporating organic nutrients on the surface. It is suitable for labour in mixed soils and working depths from 5 to 25 cm.
